¶¶Òõapp is pleased to announce that its new Climate Change Working Group will meet virtually for the first time on Oct. 30th. The working group will meet routinely to ensure ¶¶Òõapp is focusing on the most relevant developments in this area and providing the most appropriate and effective resources for member companies.
¶¶Òõapp is planning opportunities for environmental professionals to engage with your peers and learn from experts in the coming year. Grant applications to reduce diesel emissions due Dec. 1st
As previously reported, ¶¶Òõapp is concerned that changes proposed by the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) could complicate and prolong the approval of infrastructure projects, jeopardizing the potential benefits of recent legislative acts. On September 29, ¶¶Òõapp joined 25 other industry groups in opposing CEQ’s proposed changes to the rules that implement the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
At a September 11 public meeting, ¶¶Òõapp shared its concerns and recommendations regarding the White House Council on Environmental Quality’s (CEQ) proposed Phase 2 revisions to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Implementing Regulations. ¶¶Òõapp is concerned that the proposed revisions could complicate and prolong infrastructure projects, jeopardizing the potential benefits of recent legislative acts. Delays can increase project costs and even lead to abandonment. Efficiency is essential for timely community benefits, resilience, and economic strength.
