Follows safety procedures, reports unsafe activities and conditions, utilizes safety equipment, and monitors work environment to ensure safety of employees and other individuals. Maintains a comprehensive, current knowledge of applicable policies, procedures, codes, and regulations; conducts research and maintains an awareness of new issues, methods, equipment, trends and advances in the profession; reads professional literature; maintains professional affiliations; participates in continuing education activities; attends meetings, conferences, workshops and training sessions as appropriate. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: OSHA 30, CPR certifications required; Minimum 2-year Associates Degree, preferred 4-year Bachelor’s Degree, with 10+ years’ experience as a superintendent for large commercial projects; Strong computer skills, specifically packaged construction management software, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite a plus; Extensive knowledge of construction business and an excellent command of the English language; High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
